Costs (professional fees and official fees) incurred in relation to acquisition, licensing and registration of IP rights are qualifying expenditures which entitle eligible businesses to a 40% cash payout or 400% tax rebate under the Productivity and Innovation Credit (PIC) Scheme.
There is no need to obtain prior approval from IRAS for such costs to qualify.
